Wisdom teeth removal
Wisdom teeth usually appear in the late teens or early twenties. When there is no room for them they can become trapped, push on other teeth, or get infected.

Signs of a problem
Pain or swelling at the back of the jaw, a bad taste, difficulty opening your mouth, or gum that keeps getting sore behind the last molar.
When to remove them
Not everyone needs their wisdom teeth out. X-rays show how they sit, and we recommend removal only when they are causing, or likely to cause, a problem.
